We are looking for an experienced Shipping Manager to manage daily shipping and distribution operations. You will be the one to ensure complete orders are shipped and delivered in a timely manner. A successful Shipping Manager is analytical, well-organized and excels in communication. They must be comfortable with paperwork and information systems and have great knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures. The goal is to ensure that the shipping processes are running smoothly and effectively.

  • Use software to track, check, prioritize and route orders
  • Manage all important documents such as advanced shipping notice, pick slips, bills of lading etc.
  • Direct the flow of packages from preparation to shipment
  • Inspect labels, barcodes and other features of completed orders
  • Collaborate with Director of Operations to optimize processes
  • Update inventory list daily.  Work with the Director of Operations to determine production needs and timeline
  • Monthly audit of UPS ground and freight invoices for errors and over charges
  • Complete returns, all shipping needs of customers, etc
  • Resolve issues regarding shipped orders
  • File insurance claims when products arrive damaged
  • Ensure compliance to legal regulations and company policies
  • Report to management on activities and issues
  • Track shipping costs and monitor for problems/outliers and find solutions


  • Proven experience as shipping manager or related experience
  • Solid knowledge of logistics procedures
  • Experience in using Ship Station and preparing shipping documents (e.g. ASN)
  • Computer savvy with excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Pleasant and confident demeanor when dealing with colleagues and clients
  • Must have strong customer support orientation (for internal/external customers), demonstrated professional demeanor, and the ability to maintain confidential information

  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Associates degree in Business Administration or related experience, or Bachelor’s preferred. Experience in supply chain, logistics or relative field is a definite plus



Responsible for building unique artwork from reclaimed wood lath and maintaining 1767’s high quality of craftsmanship with every piece of artwork. A high attention to detail is a must, previous woodshop experience is a plus.

  • Operate brad nailer, miter saw, table saw, orbital sander, track saw, butane torch and other various hand tools.
  • Measure, prep and cut plywood canvases for artwork.
  • Prep wood lath - painting and cutting.
  • Build artwork pieces from reclaimed wood lath.
  • Fit and texture metal from metal sheets.
  • Frame final art pieces.
  • Sand and poly final artwork.
  • Daily and weekly shop clean-up.
  • Weekly tool maintenance.
  • Other duties as needed or assigned. 


  • Previous woodshop experience is a plus.
  • Follows and helps to enforce tool and shop safety regulations.
  • Pleasant and confident demeanor when dealing with colleagues.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak English. 
  • Efficient and well organized, with a good work ethic.
  • Record of accomplishing assignments on time; excels under pressure.
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple, simultaneous projects smoothly.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, exercise sound judgment and confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • Must have excellent eye for detail and strong aesthetic sense.
  • Must have strong skills in organization and planning, demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment and problem solving with minimal direction.
