Modeled after the naturally overlapping nature found in groves of agave leaves, the linear design and its gradually darkening shades of wood give off a layered effect. The small brass detail a the top functions as a celestial body, illuminating the pattern from top to bottom much like the sun or the moon illuminates the earth below.
1767’s rustic wall art is created from wood rescued from various homes prior to their demolition in Nashville, TN. Each piece tells the story of the materials used to create it, including the address where the home once stood and the year it was built.
